I recently completed a large fiber cement siding and composite trim job (with the help of two Tims). The original builder of this large addition to an old farm house installed fiber cement panels without, unfortunately, any moisture barrier. We removed the existing siding, installed Typar housewrap, flashed windows (removing nails and working flashing underneath the bottom nailing fins), and installed new fiber cement siding and Miratec trim.
